Dietrich Homes is jubilant and very gratified to yet again be recognized for their outstanding efforts and achievements, this time winning an ONTARIO WIDE Builder award (OHBA Best Model Home 2022), selected not just from among the local Peterborough Builders (that, in and of itself a rewarding accomplishment) but this time from the vast array of superb Builders, from across all of Ontario!
Dietrich Homes has already won several awards in the short time they have been building in Trails of Lily Lake, and the awards have spanned multiple areas of distinction.
Dietrich Homes continuously strives for excellence and makes enormous effort to improve the environment while creating homes that are increasingly energy efficient, and at the same time, more cost effective for our wonderful new homeowners!
Dietrich Homes maintains a belief that generating energy efficiency and endeavoring to meet lofty goals in that area, need never detract from the act of creating beautiful and distinctive new designs in all of their builds, as evidenced by having also captured awards for their unique and luxurious home plans.

- OHBA 2022 Model Home/Suite – Outstanding ONTARIO WIDE Award for the BEST Model Home 2501 sq ft or over
- HERS H20 AWARD – DIETRICH HOMES with a HERSH2O score of 69
The Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Index is the industry standard by which a home’s energy efficiency is now being measured in the US and Canada as well as the nationally recognized system for inspecting and calculating a home’s energy performance.

Presented in honour of an individual who, during their lifetime, has made outstanding contributions of significance to our homebuilding industry. The Award is open to all PKHBA Members and Presented one (1) time per year.
- PKHBA Housing Design Awards – Tract Built Homes Over 2501 Sq Ft. – Dietrich Homes -2021
The award is presented to Dietrich Homes for exceeding all of the categories including ; Architectural Appeal; Special Features/Challenges; Innovative Design Elements; Functionality of Floor Plan/Design and Creative Use of Space.
- Enbridge – Residential Savings by Design Award Winner – EQ Awards –Dietrich Homes 2020
Awarded for the initial three new builds that have been tested and achieved 30% better than the Ontario Building Code. Every single Dietrich home in the Trails of Lily Lake subdivision is being built to exceed the ASHRAE 90.2 standard for Zero Ready, which is equivalent to a Net Zero Ready home. In addition, every home will have a HERS H2O water label which guarantees savings of 20%.
- PKHBA Housing Design Awards – Green Member of the Year – Dietrich Homes
This award has been presented to the builder with the most Environmentally Friendly Project; who stands out with Leadership in Advancing Green Building Awareness and Leading-edge Environmental Strategies.
- Peterborough and District Construction Association Photography Contest – 1st place winner DIETRICH HOMES/QUINLAX.
